Description

You design and build dataset processes for modeling, data mining, and production, managing end-to-end machine learning pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end ML pipelines, from exploration and feature engineering to model building and online testing.
• Improve data quality, search quality, and predictive capabilities.
• Perform and interpret data studies and product experiments regarding new or existing data sources.
• Develop prototypes, proof of concepts, algorithms, predictive models, and custom analysis.

Required Skills

• PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field; or Master’s with 2+ years experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or C/C++.
• Scripting experience with Python or Perl.
• Statistical language knowledge, specifically R.
• Experience with large data sets and distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark).
• Relational Database Systems and SQL.
• Machine learning, information retrieval, data mining, statistics, or NLP.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting product experiment results.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in eCommerce or Online Retail.
