Description

You will design and deploy AI solutions within the Azure ecosystem, focusing on natural language processing and retrieval-augmented generation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement and scale RAG architecture use cases from proof-of-concept to production environments.
• Develop NLP solutions for text extraction, classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and summarization.
• Manage and preprocess large, unstructured datasets using SQL and Python.
• Deploy, scale, and monitor AI models while applying cloud cost management principles to optimize Azure resource usage.
• Ensure data security by applying masking techniques to PII and PHI in compliance with HIPAA and FHIR standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Deep hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Proven experience building and scaling AI solutions on the Azure Cloud ecosystem.
• Practical implementation experience with RAG architecture.
• Proficiency with LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and spaCy.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI APIs, Azure AI Search, and Azure SQL Database.
• Direct experience working with unstructured data and tools like Azure Document Intelligence.
• Expertise in handling sensitive healthcare data, including PII, PHI, HIPAA, and FHIR standards.
• Strong understanding of search algorithms, indexing, and retrieval models.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data normalization, feature engineering, and data augmentation.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
