Description

You will develop and deploy AI models focusing on OCR and LLM technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Train and fine-tune LLMs using custom datasets and deep learning architectures.
• Implement NER models and compare model feasibility for specific use cases.
• Collaborate with software engineers to deploy models into production environments.
• Build visualizations to communicate technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure all work adheres to HIPAA compliance, data confidentiality, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data science and model training.
• Hands-on experience fine-tuning open source models such as Mistral and Llama.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with AWS services including SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and Textract API.
• Knowledge of Hugging Face packages and prompt tuning.
• Experience with OCR, NER, and computer vision models for object detection and segmentation.
• Practical use of Big Data tools and data cleaning techniques.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Jenkins, and version control.
• Ability to perform robust model testing and QA/application testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
