Description

You will execute data science projects to derive actionable business insights through retail index sampling, parameter estimation, and complex data analysis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design retail index samples, estimate universe parameters, and execute design-related projects for business intelligence reporting.
• Perform expert-level analysis of complex datasets and create presentations with actionable insights for business decisions.
• Identify quality risks in data processes and implement appropriate solutions and improvements.
• Analyze existing processes within assigned areas and provide recommendations for operational improvements.
• Engage with stakeholders to discuss project scope, execution plans, data exchange requirements, and expected outcomes.

Required Skills

• Python and R for statistical computing and data manipulation.
• Strong foundation in Statistics, Mathematics, and Survey Research.
• Data Mining techniques for extracting insights from large datasets.
• Project Management experience to drive project scope and execution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
• 5+ years of work experience in data science or related analytical roles.

Preferred Skills

• Work experience in FMCG, Market Research, or Consumer Research industries.
• Knowledge of local Chinese (Mandarin).
