Description

You will own the end-to-end data science lifecycle, from statistical modeling to deployment, for complex government missions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and evaluate supervised (classification, regression) and unsupervised learning models, including GLM, logistic regression, and time series analysis.
  • Perform advanced statistical analysis and data wrangling using R or Python to uncover relationships in large datasets.
  • Develop data visualization and documentation that clearly communicates complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Manage multiple project tasks simultaneously with high accuracy, prioritizing deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Integrate data solutions into software development processes and support DoD/VA mission requirements.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in statistical modeling, specifically advanced classification and regression techniques.
  • 3+ years of professional proficiency in R or Python for data wrangling and model building.
  • Experience with SQL or Spark SQL and basic database design.
  • Hands-on experience with generalized linear/multilinear regression, logistic/multinomial regression, clustering, and dimension reduction.
  • Cloud project work experience using Google Cloud, AWS, and/or Azure.
  • Top Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Any Graduate).

Preferred Skills

  • AWS or Google Cloud Professional/Specialty Certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience with supply chain management data systems (ERP, TMS, WMS).
  • Consulting experience and proficiency in interfacing with software development processes.
