You will apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from complex data sources.

Responsibilities

• Mine and extract usable data from various valuable data sources.
• Use machine learning tools to select features and create or optimize classifiers.
• Perform preprocessing on both structured and unstructured data sets.
• Apply statistical tests, distributions, and regression to analyze data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data science roles.
• Proficiency in Python or R for statistical programming.
• Strong SQL skills for database querying.
• Experience with Hive or Pig.
• Deep understanding of applied statistics, including maximum likelihood estimators.
• Practical application of machine learning methods such as k-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, SVM, and Decision Forests.
• Any Graduate degree.
