Description

Develop and deploy machine learning models within the merchandising domain as an independent contributor.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Frame business problems into ML solutions for assortment, item selection, and pricing.
• Develop and deploy production-level models using MLOps practices.
• Build and maintain Python libraries and APIs.
• Collaborate with customer data scientists and ML engineers to review code and model logic.
• Manage cloud-based workloads on GCP and Vertex AI.

Required Skills

• 4+ years developing machine learning models and conducting research.
• 4+ years deploying models into production environments.
• 5+ years building Python libraries and APIs.
• 3+ years in merchandising-related ML domains (assortment, pricing).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, and GCP.
• Experience with Vertex AI and MLOps workflows.
• Ability to write clean, production-ready code.
• Master's degree required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GCP cloud computing environments.
