Description

You will develop and implement novel NLP and machine learning algorithms to solve complex linguistic problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify standard algorithms by adjusting objectives and implementing the underlying mathematics.
• Fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) or build language models from scratch.
• Apply modern deep learning approaches to entity/relation extraction, summarization, and knowledge graph construction.
• Execute large-scale data analysis and manage the movement of large datasets across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with peer-level associates on problem-solving teams to meet critical project deadlines.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of professional experience in NLP programming.
• Experience fine-tuning LLMs or writing language models from scratch.
• Proficiency in Python / Anaconda or R.
• Deep learning expertise in word/paragraph embeddings, structured prediction, and sentiment analysis.
• Practical experience in entity/relation extraction, summarization, semantics, document classification, or question answering.
• Strong background in statistical learning techniques such as HMMs, CRFs, SVMs, LDA, LSI, or MRFs.
• Experience moving large datasets using SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, or Spark.
• Demonstrated track record of developing novel algorithms and publishing in peer-reviewed journals or conferences.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced degree in Data Science with a focus in NLP.
• Experience with the BERT family or open-source foundational models like Llama, Falcon, or Mistral.
