Description

You design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI and machine learning solutions on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build cloud-native, serverless backend applications using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Neptune, Bedrock, and SageMaker.
• Develop APIs, workflow automation, and integration components for AI-powered functionality in production.
• Create scalable data processing and application logic to support model inference, retrieval, search, and decision-support workflows.
• Implement monitoring, logging, testing, and deployment practices to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Partner with technical leads and business stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, maintainable AI-enabled applications.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, or AI/ML engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend application development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS-native services: Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Neptune, Bedrock, SageMaker.
• Experience building and deploying production applications in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Understanding of APIs, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
• Ability to diagnose issues, optimize performance, and support production systems.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience with cloud security, reliability, and performance best practices.
