You will bridge the gap between the Decision Science Ecosystem platform team and the internal data science community, enabling scientists to model and operationalize solutions on the DSE platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Foster a developer community around Global Data Assets & Analytics platforms through hackathons, workshops, and meetups.
• Partner with data scientists to implement best practices and align with platform vision.
• Create educational content, provide technical support, and gather developer feedback.
• Develop tools that simplify platform operations for internal Crop Science consumers.
• Advocate for the needs of 600+ individuals in the data realm and build relationships with key influencers.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data science, data modeling, or AI/ML.
• Proficiency in Python or R, including libraries like pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Hands-on knowledge of MLOps practices and model deployment strategies.
• Cloud platform expertise: AWS SageMaker, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to read code and understand technical implementations without writing production code.
• Masters degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience evangelizing and promoting technical platforms to large user bases.
• Familiarity with Global Data Assets products such as Location360, Market360, or Crop Science Warehouse.
