Description

You will own data security controls and compliance monitoring using Microsoft Purview and DLP policies. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Microsoft Purview solutions for data classification and governance.
• Implement and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Monitor data security events and respond to potential data exfiltration risks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security controls into data workflows.
• Document security policies and maintain audit readiness for data handling practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data security or information governance.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Purview, including data map and sensitivity labels.
• Strong knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) configuration and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of data classification standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ability to translate business data needs into technical security controls.
• Experience working in hybrid or cloud-based infrastructure environments.
• Any Graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
