You will own the data loss prevention and classification programs for structured and unstructured data using Microsoft Purview and Securiti.ai.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data classification schemes, ensuring accurate labeling and sensitivity label application.
• Drive the DLP rule development lifecycle, including policy creation, response rules, and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with DLP teams to configure detection systems, prevent data exfiltration, and review policy effectiveness.
• Identify security gaps through data discovery and perform remediation tasks related to sensitive user access.
• Oversee MSP activities and drive projects as an individual contributor across various organizational teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data security or related roles.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Purview, Netskope, and Microsoft Copilot.
• Experience extracting, analyzing, and organizing large datasets from disparate sources using investigative tools.
• Strong understanding of the OSI networking model and technical Data Loss Prevention.
• Ability to conduct research and use data analytics to minimize false positives.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to data protection.
• Competency in communicating complex technical findings through written summaries and visualizations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with structured and unstructured data connectors and regex adjustments.
• Background in security operations using DLP and Data Classification technologies.
