Description

You will conduct in-depth research on SaaS applications, specifically analyzing data flows and security challenges within these environments. Your work will leverage network security expertise and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) knowledge to enhance data security understanding.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network traffic using Fiddler, Burp Suite, and Wireshark to identify security vulnerabilities and data flow patterns.
• Research SaaS application stacks to understand data handling and security implications.
• Inspect and decode SSL traffic to verify secure communication protocols.
• Apply knowledge of CASB solutions to evaluate and improve SaaS security postures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security and data security research.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript for scripting and automation.
• Strong understanding of network protocols including TCP, DNS, HTTP, and WebSocket.
• Experience with network traffic analysis tools: Fiddler, Burp Suite, Wireshark.
• Working knowledge of data formats used in internet communication, specifically JSON and XML.
• Experience working with firewalls and proxies.
• Ability to analyze SSL traffic and interpret SaaS application architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) technologies.
• Ability to communicate complex technical security concepts to diverse audiences.
