Description

Conduct in-depth research on SaaS applications, analyzing data flows and security challenges to enhance data security postures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network traffic using Fiddler, Burp Suite, and Wireshark to identify vulnerabilities and data flow patterns.
• Research SaaS application stacks to understand data handling mechanisms and security implications.
• Inspect and decode SSL traffic to verify secure communication protocols.
• Apply Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) knowledge to evaluate and improve SaaS security.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security and data security research.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript for scripting and automation.
• Strong understanding of network protocols: TCP, DNS, HTTP, and WebSocket.
• Experience with network traffic analysis tools: Fiddler, Burp Suite, Wireshark.
• Working knowledge of internet data formats, specifically JSON and XML.
• Experience working with firewalls and proxies.
• Ability to analyze SSL traffic and interpret SaaS application architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) technologies.
• Ability to communicate complex technical security concepts to diverse audiences.
