Description

You will protect information system assets from intentional or inadvertent access and destruction.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement security procedures for LANs, WANs, and MANs to protect organizational infrastructure.
• Design and execute hardware and software firewall configurations.
• Evaluate security requirements and weigh business needs against security concerns for management reporting.
• Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of information security programs.
• Interface with users to understand security needs and ensure adherence to established protocols.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data security or information security roles.
• Hands-on experience with hardware and software firewalls.
• Experience managing security across LAN, WAN, and MAN environments.
• Knowledge of encryption techniques and tools, specifically Thales for mainframe databases.
• Understanding of domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.
• Familiarity with communication protocols and current Internet/EC technology.
• Ability to conduct security level evaluations and implement necessary protections.
