Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and implementation of data solutions integrating third-party products with cloud data platforms

• Understand and define network security requirements including private link configuration, firewall rules, and secure connectivity

• Act as technical liaison between data engineering, networking, UNIX/infrastructure, and security teams

• Design and govern data platform framework covering streaming, batch, and database patterns

• Evaluate solution options and make architectural recommendations aligned with enterprise standards

• Own solution delivery from design through deployment, ensuring all dependencies across teams are met

• Contribute to and maintain the architecture registry of approved data solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong background in data architecture, application and solution design

• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms — Snowflake, Databricks preferred; other platforms considered

• Understanding of enterprise networking concepts: private link, VPN, firewall rules, subnets

• Ability to work with UNIX/Linux teams on infrastructure requirements

• Experience with streaming architectures (Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.) or batch data pipelines

• Proven track record of coordinating across multiple technical teams and stakeholders

• Strong communication skills — ability to translate technical requirements across teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Databricks or similar data lakehouse platforms

• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks (not mandatory)

• Background in enterprise data governance or solution architecture frameworks
