Description

Lead the architecture and implementation of data solutions, integrating third-party products with cloud data platforms while defining network security requirements and governing the data platform framework.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement data solutions that integrate third-party products with cloud platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
• Define network security requirements, including private link configuration, firewall rules, and secure connectivity standards.
• Design and govern the data platform framework, covering streaming, batch, and database patterns.
• Act as the technical liaison between data engineering, networking, UNIX/infrastructure, and security teams.
• Own solution delivery from design through deployment, ensuring all cross-team dependencies are met.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, application design, and solution design.
• Hands-on expertise with cloud data platforms, specifically Snowflake or Databricks.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts: private link, VPN, firewall rules, and subnets.
• Experience working with UNIX/Linux teams on infrastructure requirements.
• Proficiency in streaming architectures (Kafka, Spark Streaming) or batch data pipelines.
• Proven track record of coordinating across multiple technical teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks or similar data lakehouse platforms.
• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks.
