Description

You will lead the design, development, and management of an enterprise data warehouse architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the data warehouse architecture, including maintenance of data dictionaries, datasets, and data flows.
• Integrate data from on-prem and cloud business systems to ensure seamless ingestion and transformation.
• Support business users by providing access to insights through Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions for both technical and non-technical users.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in a centralized IT organization performing information systems analysis and design.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, database administration, BI development, or data architecture.
• 4+ years of experience designing and managing data warehouses or data lakes in Azure (Data Lake Storage Gen2, Synapse, Azure Data Factory).
• 4+ years of experience with Azure Purview, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Factory.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL Server, Cache, or InterSystems IRIS.
• Expertise in SQL, T-SQL, and SSIS.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes and CI/CD pipelines for data integration.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power BI gateway setup for hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports and legacy reporting systems.
