Data Steward

You will manage data quality, metadata, and lifecycle processes to meet service level commitments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the data lifecycle from ingestion to production to ensure quality and metadata accuracy.
• Drive cloud migration activities by running validation routines and comparing results between legacy and cloud systems.
• Own the development of automated, threshold-based reports to identify and act on data quality improvements.
• Maintain metadata management artifacts including schemas, business rules, and data dictionaries in Collibra.
• Coordinate and track project deliverables across multiple teams to support business transformation.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with data handling/quality tools and Big Data ecosystems.
• Proficiency in SQL and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery.
• Experience using BI tools such as Tableau.
• 3 years of analysis experience in credit risk, telecommunications, financial services, marketing, fraud, or insurance.
• 3 years of experience in data and business insights analysis.
• Working knowledge of data structure, data handling, and the credit lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Collibra or similar metadata management tools.
• Experience with Looker or similar data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with Python, Java, or equivalent database queries and views.
