Manage data integrity and governance within a new platform environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide domain expertise and authority to technical working groups.
• Deliver detailed technical documentation for data processes and systems.
• Mentor and guide the activities of junior team members.
• Support the build and maintenance of APIs using resource-based design principles.
• Profile data and report on data quality metrics to drive process improvement.

Required Skills

• 9 years of experience in relevant business domains (7 years with a Master’s, or 3 years with a PhD).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Experience querying SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Python, R, Pipeline Pilot, or ETL applications.
• Experience managing data via APIs.
• Background in Big Data Cloud Compute and NoSQL technologies.
• Applied experience with Agile, DevOps, and continuous deployment.
• Experience with data warehousing and decision science.
• Strong ability to influence and communicate across multiple organizational levels.

Preferred Skills

• Agriculture domain knowledge.
• Experience with BigQuery.
