Description

You will lead design sessions with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to produce design documentation and business metadata capture.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions across business organizations to document business logic and data sources.
• Define data quality rules and implement automated monitoring, reporting, and remediation solutions.
• Perform data discovery, exploratory data analysis, cleaning, and processing to ensure high data quality.
• Manage Open Data efforts to ensure data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR).
• Partner with Data Governance to ensure data security and appropriate access management.
• Support data migrations from legacy systems and coordinate the resolution of data support tickets.
• Create mapping documents, templates, and technical documentation to improve existing processes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data stewardship or related roles.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R for data analysis and profiling.
• Experience with Big Data Cloud Compute and NoSQL technologies.
• Hands-on experience with ETL applications and Pipeline Pilot.
• Ability to design data catalogs, including metadata structures and object relations.
• Experience building and supporting APIs using resource-based design principles.
• Proven ability to deliver detailed technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of data management best practices and data quality frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
