Description

You will lead data design sessions, define quality rules, and manage metadata and FAIR data initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead design sessions with engineers and stakeholders to produce design documentation and business metadata.
• Define data quality rules and implement automated monitoring, reporting, and remediation solutions.
• Perform data discovery, exploratory analysis, cleaning, and processing to ensure high data quality.
• Manage Open Data efforts to ensure data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR).
• Partner with Data Governance to ensure data security and support migrations from legacy systems.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data stewardship or related roles.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R for data analysis and profiling.
• Experience with Big Data Cloud Compute and NoSQL technologies.
• Hands-on experience with ETL applications and Pipeline Pilot.
• Ability to design data catalogs, including metadata structures and object relations.
• Experience building and supporting APIs using resource-based design principles.
• Proven ability to deliver detailed technical documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
