Description

You will build and maintain data systems across on-premise and cloud environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize batch and event-driven code for large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Automate build and deployment processes using Jenkins across all environments.
• Design and document conceptual and logical data models at enterprise and domain levels.
• Participate in the full software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) for data engineering pipeline development.
• Integrate metadata within data pipelines.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience in software development or comparable data engineering experience.
• Expertise in Python scripting and large-scale data processing using Spark.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in database concepts, specifically Snowflake, DB2, and Sybase IQ.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS and exposure to Azure.
• Experience writing and maintaining Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with data modeling, including XML/JSON and schema design.
• Experience implementing DevOps practices, including Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Linux environments.
