Lead technical strategy and execution for data engineering and analytics workloads in Dallas, TX.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data processing architectures using Databricks.
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and data scientists.
• Oversee the implementation of data processing workflows, analytics, and machine learning models.
• Optimize the performance of big data processing tasks and analytics jobs.
• Manage technical project aspects including timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of total experience in data engineering and analytics.
• 8+ years of experience working specifically with Databricks.
• Deep expertise in Apache Spark, PySpark, and Databricks architecture.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Scala.
• Hands-on experience writing Python code and PySpark notebooks.
• Experience configuring Databricks clusters on the Azure Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in ETL processes and data modeling.
• Proven ability to make strategic decisions regarding data organization, storage, and processing.

Preferred Skills

• Ensure consistency, quality, and maintainability of the codebase.
