Description

You will lead end-to-end delivery on Microsoft Fabric, setting reference patterns and engineering standards for lakehouse and BI layers.

Responsibilities

• Architect data products using medallion architecture, implementing governance, lineage, and cataloging within OneLake.
• Drive performance optimization across lakehouse and Power BI layers, including star schema modeling, DAX tuning, query folding, incremental refresh, and caching.
• Own NFR management including scalability, reliability, security, compliance, and FinOps, defining SLOs and capacity plans.
• Implement monitoring and alerting using Fabric monitoring and Log Analytics, and manage CI/CD via Git integration and environment strategy.
• Provide technical leadership to squads through code reviews, solution spikes, and performance deep-dives to remove delivery blockers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Synapse in Fabric and OneLake Lakehouse.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including advanced DAX, data model tuning, and query folding.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and lineage implementation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git integration, and release governance.
• Ability to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and manage risks and dependencies.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques such as partitioning and load testing.

Preferred Skills

• Fluency in the PC insurance domain, including policy, claims, billing, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with enterprise data strategy, data mesh patterns, and backlog prioritization.
