Description

Validate data integrity and quality within an agile product team to support the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Data Engineers and stewards to define business requirements and technical designs.
• Develop and drive risk-based testing strategies across multiple product teams and systems.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate ETL logic and identify data discrepancies.
• Document, triage, and resolve defects while capturing testing artifacts and reports.
• Coach and mentor team members on testing practices and tools.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of experience with Python or Java scripting.
• Strong understanding of database structures or previous experience as a DBA.
• Proficiency in SQL for comparative analysis and data investigation.
• Experience working with APIs and analyzing JSON or XML outputs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, in-sprint test automation, and CI integration.
• Practical knowledge of Data Catalog, Data Quality, Data Governance, MDM, or Data Stewardship.
• Experience using tools such as ASG, Informatica, or Alation.
• 1+ years of Agile experience using Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and asynchronous architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Background in Financial Services.
• Experience with unit, functional, and performance testing.
