Description

Own end-to-end data validation and quality assurance for enterprise data warehouse applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans covering data validation, regression, and multi-phase testing for large-scale projects.
• Transform business logic into SQL or PL/SQL queries to verify ETL processes and ensure data integrity.
• Perform data analysis tasks including profiling, auditing, balancing, and reconciliation within the IT environment.
• Tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to drive performance improvements.
• Create requirements traceability matrices (RTM) and manage the defect lifecycle using tracking tools.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience focusing on Data Warehouse testing.
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL, including writing complex queries and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python for QA automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of ETL development and data warehousing concepts (ODS, DM, EDW, ROLAP).
• Experience with S3, Hadoop, and Postgres.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or ALM for defect tracking.
• Technical familiarity with XML and information governance principles.
• Deep understanding of the Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, and Defect Life Cycle.
• Proven ability to work with large data sets and Data Quality Frameworks.
