Description

You will build and maintain Python-based data test automation frameworks, pipelines, and CI/CD processes for large-scale datasets.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python test automation frameworks including unit and integration testing, packaging, and virtual environment management.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using pandas, SQLAlchemy/pyodbc, asyncio, and Celery.
• Design stored procedures and write high-performance SQL, including query tuning and execution-plan analysis.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate code, data, and database object promotion using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.
• Orchestrate batch workflows using AutoSys, Control-M, or Airflow, with shell/Python scripting for automation.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of hands-on software engineering experience with Python.
• Strong proficiency in MySQL and Python for data workflows.
• Experience with pandas, SQLAlchemy, and pyodbc for data processing.
• Knowledge of asyncio and Celery for pipeline execution.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab) and Git.
• Experience with Pytest for testing.
• Familiarity with schedulers like AutoSys, Control-M, or Airflow.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud exposure (Azure/AWS), containers/Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code (Bicep/Terraform).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps gates (Sonar, Mend, ZAP).
• Capital-markets domain exposure or trading data stack experience.
