Description

You will test a metadata-driven settlement rule engine implementation on a cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and document test cases for data validation, metadata accuracy, and rule execution.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing for data pipelines and rule engine functionalities.
• Validate data accuracy, rule execution results, and metadata configurations against expected outcomes.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for regression and sanity testing.
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue and Lambda.
• Experience with cloud databases such as Postgres, Redshift, or Synapse.
• Experience using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM for defect tracking.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and validate data updates via CRUD screens.
• Bachelor's degree or any graduate degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PySpark scripting.
• Experience with metadata-driven systems and rule engines.
