Description

You will lead data quality assurance efforts across the software development lifecycle, focusing on ETL pipelines and data analytical testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test scripts to validate functional and technical requirements within data processing pipelines.
• Execute manual, automated, and exploratory tests to provide QA sign-off for releases.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and DevOps engineers to refine requirements and manage CI/CD integrated testing.
• Maintain test process artifacts and traceability reports within test management systems to ensure audit compliance.
• Profile data and monitor trends in collaboration with data analysts.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Test Automation, specifically focusing on ETL testing and data analytical testing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL queries, testing SQL jobs, and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with Java programming and the Cucumber (Java) testing framework.
• Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Agile methodologies like Kanban.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as Jira with Xray or Zephyr.
• Working knowledge of scheduling and orchestration tools like Azure Data Factory or Control-M.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Git branching models.

Preferred Skills

• Basic programming knowledge in Python.
• Experience with the Azure cloud platform.
• Background working in the investment banking or asset management industry.
