Description

Lead quality assurance for the Cloudera-Hive to Snowflake migration, owning test strategy, execution, and defect resolution.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy, scope, and scheduling for the migration project.
• Reconcile data between Hive and Snowflake to ensure accuracy.
• Lead the testing team to meet deliverables within tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to build test automation solutions.
• Manage end-to-end test deliverables, including plans, status reports, and defect tracking.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software testing and data migration projects.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake testing and advanced SQL writing.
• Proven experience with Cloudera and Hive environments.
• Experience managing testing resources and defining quality standards.
• Proficiency with JIRA, ALM, Bitbucket, and Git.
• Ability to validate report outputs and manage vendor/cross-functional coordination.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating from Cloudera (Spark + Scala) to Snowpark.
