Description

You will lead quality assurance for a large-scale data migration from on-premises SQL Server to Snowflake.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement end-to-end data validation strategies for the SQL Server to Snowflake migration.
• Design test cases, validation scripts, and automation frameworks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct source-to-target data comparisons using SQL and Snowflake queries.
• Identify, document, and escalate data anomalies, gaps, and transformation issues.
• Collaborate with data engineers, migration teams, and business stakeholders to define validation criteria and acceptance thresholds.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data validation and QA.
• Expert proficiency in SQL for querying and validation.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Hands-on experience with the Snowflake data platform.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools.
• K knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data migration projects.
