Description

You will ensure data integrity throughout critical data migration initiatives from SQL Server to Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain data validation and reconciliation plans for database migration projects.
• Analyze source (SQL Server) and target (Snowflake) data structures to identify discrepancies and anomalies.
• Develop and execute test cases and validation scripts to ensure accurate data migration.
• Use SQL extensively to extract, transform, and compare large datasets across environments.
• Collaborate with DBAs and data engineers to troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in data quality, validation, or testing, preferably in data migration or ETL.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, specifically T-SQL and Snowflake SQL.
• Hands-on experience with data migration, ETL processes, or Data Warehousing.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Experience with Data Structures.
• Familiarity with Python or Shell Scripting.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Excellent documentation and cross-functional communication skills.
