Description

You will build Power BI reports to support a legacy modernization project by migrating existing WebFOCUS reports and developing new reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build Power BI reports and dashboards to replace legacy reporting systems.
• Meet with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand reporting needs.
• Analyze existing legacy reports to design and implement new technical solutions.
• Define and manage data flows and pipelines using scripting for data importation.
• Validate data and queries to ensure high-quality, clean, and usable datasets.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of experience in Power BI development delivering complex reports.
• Proficiency with the MS Power BI suite, including Power Query, M, and DAX.
• Strong SQL Server experience with the ability to write complex queries.
• Expertise in data modeling and dimensional modeling for data warehouse design.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Ability to manage data flows and pipelines with related scripting knowledge.
• Knowledge of R language and MS PowerApps.
• Competency in data mining and identifying appropriate data management systems.

Preferred Skills

• Background in data warehouse design and dimensional modeling.
