Description

You will design and maintain enterprise-scale data warehouse environments using Teradata, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer Teradata systems, including Viewpoint, TTU, and PSIM, while managing workload management policies.
• Optimize system performance through tuning and execute backup and recovery procedures.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and automate operational tasks using Unix/Linux, Bash, Perl, and Python.
• Ensure compliance with security standards such as NIST 800-53 and IRS Pub 1075 within data warehouse environments.
• Integrate cloud capabilities, specifically Azure, into the existing data infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Warehouse architecture and administration.
• Deep expertise in Teradata Administration, Teradata Viewpoint, TTU, and PSIM.
• Strong background in Performance Tuning, Backup & Recovery, and Teradata Workload Management.
• Proficiency in ETL development and data integration patterns.
• Hands-on scripting and automation skills with Unix/Linux, Bash, Perl, and Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Medicaid systems and enterprise data warehouse environments.
