Description

You will design and build data warehouse solutions, moving data from source systems to warehouse environments through structured ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Design logical and physical data warehouse models, including star and snowflake schemas, to meet reporting and bulk data requirements.
• Architect end-to-end ETL pipelines, defining data processing borders and system architecture for each element.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and database models to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Monitor and tune queries and data loads to address data integrity, mapping, and performance issues.
• Document system requirements, manage development lifecycles, and conduct testing on data pipelines and tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and dimensional data modeling.
• Expertise in SQL, including writing optimized queries and managing SQL-based services.
• Proficiency with dimensional modeling techniques: Star schema, Snowflake schema, slowly changing dimensions, and confirmed dimensions.
• Experience with ETL process design, specification, and implementation.
• Technical proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Competency in Power BI, Tableau, and OneLake.
• Ability to use Python for automating repetitive tasks in Azure environments.
• Working knowledge of XML and Structured Query Language (SQL) for data reconstruction and transmission.
• Experience with relational structures and BI best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Collaboration with platform administration teams to implement ETL tools and ensure data quality and operational efficiency.
