Description

You will own the development, maintenance, and enhancement of automated data warehouse applications on the Teradata platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes, data marts, reporting, and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot ETL processes and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Coordinate with other data warehouse teams on complex, multi-team projects.
• Review and propose modifications to existing data warehouse policies and practices.
• Collaborate with Data Modelers to translate logical designs into physical designs optimized for reporting.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience creating Data Warehouse BI applications, including ETL, data mart development, and information delivery systems.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Teradata Studio or SQL Assistant.
• Experience with data replication using tools such as Oracle Golden Gate.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical study.
• Ability to design applications considering data reconciliation, query performance, and analytical value.
• Experience in end-user training.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with State of Michigan PMM/SUITE/Agile methodology.
