Description

You will design and manage data warehouse security, infrastructure, and integration processes for the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex Linux security models on DW ETL servers, including user access, group authorizations, and sudo permissions.
• Administer Teradata security and access controls to ensure system integrity.
• Maintain the Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure data availability for business processes.
• Own the Data Warehouse change management infrastructure, performing build engineer tasks for manual and automated code and DDL promotions.
• Conduct elevated access audits, mitigate findings, and manage Data Warehouse continuity planning and testing.

Required Skills

• Minimum 12 years of Teradata experience.
• Minimum 10 years of SQL experience.
• Minimum 10 years of shell scripting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Linux experience.
• Expertise in DW ETL and Data Warehouse architecture.
• Experience supporting State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Data Warehouses.
• Must be local to Mid-Michigan and able to work onsite in Lansing 2 days per week.
