Description

You will design and manage the security, infrastructure, and data availability for the Data Warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex Linux security models on ETL servers, including user access, groups, and sudo authorizations.
• Administer Teradata security, access controls, and user audits to mitigate findings.
• Maintain the Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure data availability for critical business processes.
• Own the change management infrastructure, including code/DDL promotions and build engineering tasks for manual and automated processes.
• Execute Data Warehouse continuity planning, testing, and escalated troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• Minimum 12 years of Teradata experience.
• Minimum 10 years of SQL experience.
• Minimum 10 years of shell scripting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Linux experience.
• Experience supporting Department of Health and Human Services Data Warehouses.
• Experience loading data from multiple source systems.
• Ability to provide technical expertise and training to development teams for batch troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Lead the migration of separate MDHHDS Data Warehouses to common processes.
