Description

You will design and maintain the security, infrastructure, and data availability standards for the Data Warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Linux security model on ETL servers, including user access, groups, and sudo authorizations.
  • Oversee Teradata security, access controls, and Data Warehouse continuity planning and testing.
  • Own the change management infrastructure, including code and DDL promotions via manual and automated build processes.
  • Maintain the Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure data availability for business processes.
  • Execute user audits, mitigate audit findings, and provide input to SSPs.

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of Teradata experience.
  • 10+ years of SQL experience.
  • 10+ years of shell scripting experience.
  • 5+ years of Linux experience.
  • Experience supporting the loading of data from multiple source systems.
  • Experience supporting State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Data Warehouses.
  • Ability to provide technical expertise and training to development teams for batch troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

  • Proven ability to work independently while adhering to SOM and MDHHS/DTMB policies.
  • Experience leading the migration of existing MDHHS Data Warehouses to Common Processes.
