You will design and maintain the security, infrastructure, and data availability standards for the Data Warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Linux security model on ETL servers, including user access, groups, and sudo authorizations.
- Oversee Teradata security, access controls, and Data Warehouse continuity planning and testing.
- Own the change management infrastructure, including code and DDL promotions via manual and automated build processes.
- Maintain the Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure data availability for business processes.
- Execute user audits, mitigate audit findings, and provide input to SSPs.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of Teradata experience.
- 10+ years of SQL experience.
- 10+ years of shell scripting experience.
- 5+ years of Linux experience.
- Experience supporting the loading of data from multiple source systems.
- Experience supporting State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Data Warehouses.
- Ability to provide technical expertise and training to development teams for batch troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills
- Proven ability to work independently while adhering to SOM and MDHHS/DTMB policies.
- Experience leading the migration of existing MDHHS Data Warehouses to Common Processes.
