Required Skills:

8+ years of experience with Teradata Database Administration
Expertise in Teradata upgrades, provisioning, patching, and software maintenance
Strong scripting skills in BASH, Perl, Python, and Glink
Experience with Teradata Viewpoint, TTU, PSIM, node management, and workload management
Hands-on experience in backup & recovery, performance tuning, and resource optimization
Strong knowledge of ETL processes and Unix/Linux administration
Understanding of Cloud Computing (preferably Microsoft Azure)
Experience with statistics, audits, and security planning
Knowledge of compliance standards such as NIST 800-53, IRS Pub 1075, SSA, and Medicaid
Excellent troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and disaster recovery planning skills

Responsibilities:

Administer and support the Enterprise Data Warehouse (Production, DR, and Test environments)
Monitor platform health, performance, and security
Perform upgrades, patch management, and vendor coordination
Optimize Teradata workloads and system performance
Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
Provide technical guidance to DBAs and enterprise teams
Ensure compliance with State and Federal security standards
Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance EDW services and architecture
