Description

You will design and maintain the security, infrastructure, and automation frameworks for the Data Warehouse environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Linux security models on ETL servers, including user access, group authorizations, and sudo permissions.
• Administer Teradata security and access controls.
• Maintain the Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure data availability for business processes.
• Own the Data Warehouse change management infrastructure, including code and DDL promotions through manual and automated processes.
• Execute Data Warehouse continuity planning, testing, and escalated troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of Teradata experience.
• 10+ years of SQL experience.
• 10+ years of shell scripting experience.
• 5+ years of Linux experience.
• Experience supporting the loading of data from multiple source systems.
• Ability to provide technical expertise and training to development teams for batch troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting one or more State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Data Warehouses.
