Description

You will lead the design, security, and maintenance of the Data Warehouse infrastructure and ETL processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Linux security model on DW ETL servers, including user access and sudo authorizations.
• Administer Teradata security and access controls.
• Maintain the Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure data availability for critical business processes.
• Own the change management infrastructure, including code and DDL promotions and build engineering tasks.
• Execute Data Warehouse continuity planning, testing, and user audits to mitigate findings.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of Teradata experience.
• 10+ years of SQL experience.
• 10+ years of shell scripting experience.
• 5+ years of Linux experience.
• Experience supporting State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Data Warehouses.
• Experience loading data from multiple source systems.
• Proficiency in Change Management and ETL server environments.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work independently while following State of Michigan and MDHHs/DTMB policies.
