Description

You will design and implement scalable data architecture solutions using IBM Cloud Pak for Data while leading workload migrations and governance initiatives.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architecture solutions using IBM Cloud Pak for Data.
• Lead the migration of IBM DataStage workloads to Cloud Pak for Data.
• Implement data governance and cataloging using IBM Knowledge Catalog.
• Utilize IBM Manta for data lineage and impact analysis.
• Define and enforce data architecture standards, best practices, and design patterns.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of total experience with 5+ years specifically in IBM Cloud Pak for Data, IBM Knowledge Catalog, and IBM Manta.
• Proven track record of migrating IBM DataStage workloads to Cloud Pak for Data.
• Strong experience in data architecture design and implementation.
• Expertise in data governance, lineage, and metadata management.
• Ability to integrate enterprise data across multiple systems.
• Solid understanding of data quality, consistency, and lifecycle management.
• Experience defining and enforcing enterprise data standards and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working with the State of Michigan.
• Experience in government or public sector data environments.
