Description

You will own the architecture, maintenance, and optimization of the Teradata data warehouse ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Teradata database upgrades, provisioning, and software maintenance.
• Administer Teradata Viewpoint, TTU, and PSIM for ecosystem health monitoring.
• Execute Teradata node management, workload management, and backup & recovery.
• Tune performance and optimize resource allocation across the data warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with federal security standards including NIST 800-53 and IRS Pub 1075.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Teradata database administration and architecture.
• Proficiency in scripting using BASH, Perl, and Python.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU) and Glink.
• Understanding of cloud computing fundamentals, networking, and resource allocation (MS Azure preferred).
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and audit requirements.
• Knowledge of federal security compliance frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Teradata workload management and performance tuning at scale.
