Description

You will administer and support the Enterprise Data Warehouse across Production, DR, and Test environments, ensuring platform health, performance, and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform Teradata upgrades, patch management, provisioning, and software maintenance.
• Monitor platform health and optimize Teradata workloads, performance, and resource usage.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning while ensuring compliance with NIST 800-53, IRS Pub 1075, and other federal standards.
• Provide technical guidance to DBAs and enterprise teams on architecture and service enhancements.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve EDW services.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Teradata Database Administration.
• Strong scripting skills in BASH, Perl, Python, and Glink.
• Hands-on experience with Teradata Viewpoint, TTU, PSIM, and node management.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux administration and understanding of ETL processes.
• Experience with backup, recovery, performance tuning, and workload management.
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing (preferably Microsoft Azure).
• Understanding of statistics, audits, security planning, and compliance standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and disaster recovery planning skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with State and Federal security compliance frameworks.
