Description

You will own the Teradata ecosystem, covering provisioning, maintenance, and performance optimization for data warehouse operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Teradata node administration, Viewpoint configuration, and TTU utilities.
• Script automation and maintenance tasks using Bash, Perl, and Python.
• Execute ETL processes and ensure data integrity across the platform.
• Perform performance tuning, workload management, and resource optimization.
• Administer PSIM monitoring and handle backup, recovery, and vendor upgrades.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data warehousing and Teradata administration.
• Deep expertise in Teradata ecosystem health monitoring and node management.
• Proficiency in Bash, Perl, and Python scripting for system maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools and Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU) and PSIM.
• Understanding of cloud fundamentals (preferably MS Azure) and networking.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud resource allocation and networking in MS Azure.
