Design and optimize enterprise data warehouse solutions on Azure, leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives while mentoring engineering teams.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize enterprise Data Warehouse solutions for scalability and performance.
• Build and manage scalable Azure Databricks data pipelines using Python and Spark.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, ensuring seamless transitions.
• Implement Data Governance, Lineage, and Data Quality frameworks to ensure compliance.
• Mentor Data Engineering teams and drive architecture best practices across the organization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Azure Databricks and Azure Data Services.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and Data Modeling.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and building data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Spark and Big Data technologies.
• Understanding of Data Governance and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with Financial or Capital Markets domain, including Trading, Risk Management, and Regulatory Reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven track record of leading architecture best practices and mentoring teams.
• Experience with Data Lineage implementation.
