Description

You will engineer and maintain the enterprise data warehouse, migrating objects from SQL Server to Snowflake.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate data warehouse objects from SQL Server to Snowflake, focusing on performance and cost efficiency.
• Design and implement dimensional data models (star/snowflake schemas) optimized for the Power BI Semantic Layer.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Develop new data marts to support emerging domains like Product Development.
• Optimize queries, warehouse performance, and ensure data quality and lineage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience in SQL Server to Snowflake migrations.
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, SQL, and Python.
• Deep understanding of dimensional modeling and optimization for BI/semantic layers.
• Experience building data marts for new datasets and business domains.
• Background in ETL/ELT pipeline development and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with data sources including Salesforce, Dynamics 365, Coupa, Workday, and Concur.
