Description

You will design, code, test, and document data warehouse ETL and reporting code within an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes and data movement workflows using SAS and Teradata.
• Manage automated scheduling and workload automation using IBM/Tivoli Workload Scheduler.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation to manage daily data loads and incident response.
• Document ETL logic, workflow processing, and technical requirements clearly.
• Escalate risks and potential SLA breaches to ensure data load and reporting compliance.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years of ETL development experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a SAS Base programmer and SAS DI developer.
• 5+ years of proficiency in SQL with Teradata and/or Oracle databases.
• Experience with Teradata BTEQ.
• Experience with UNIX and UNIX shell scripting for executing Teradata utilities.
• 5 years of experience designing and maintaining IBM/Tivoli Workload Scheduler (IWS).
• Experience working within the systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management.
• Proven ability to work within virtual teams and manage multiple assignments independently.
• Experience applying both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Moderate SQL tuning skills, including analyzing explain plans.
• Experience using Git.
